Windows Resource Protection. The Techinline service works smoothly with the Windows Resource Protection and System File Protection subsystems. The application does not alter any protected folders or system registry data. Instead, Techinline takes advantage of the Internet Explorer's feature to install a plug-in into a particular user's folder without affecting any other users on the machine. All user preferences are stored on the server. When Techinline is launched as a stand-alone application, it uses the standard Windows temporary folder and is entirely removed after its use. If Techinline is launched as a plug-in, the add-on is installed in the plug-in folder of the browser, from where it can be easily removed afterwards.

Digitally Signed Application. All executable files found in the Techinline service are digitally signed by the Comodo Group. The Authenticode signature ensures that the installed plug-in is genuine. Furthermore, it detects any 3rd party potentially tampering with the plug-in, and immediately alerts the user of such intrusion.

Windows x64 Support. Techinline is fully compatible with x64 operating systems.

User Account Control (UAC) Support. Techinline entirely meets all UAC guidelines. The service launches its components only after the required permission is provided, and will comply with any restrictions which the user has in place. The Techinline service enables to perform any operation which is accepted by the user.

Techinline’s UAC support enables the end user to maintain privacy and control all of the Expert’s actions on the machine. For example, when the Expert attempts to perform a task which requires administrative rights, such as installing an application, the user will be prompted to allow the operation. The Expert is able to control such UAC prompts from the local machine only after being extended the necessary credentials from the remote user. This helps ensure that the Expert cannot perform any critical actions on the remote machine without prior consent of its owner.
