File and Clipboard Transfer

During a support session, you may be required to transfer files or folders to the remote computer, and vice versa. The Techinline integrated file and clipboard transfer feature enables bi-directional transfer of objects between a local and remote computer, thereby eliminating the time-consuming process of using 3rd party file sharing sites or software. Transfer files and clipboard with the two following simple methods:

Copy and Paste

Right-click the object you want to copy, then select “Copy”. This will result in the object being copied onto the session’s shared clipboard. Locate the desired location on the other machine, right-click an empty space within the location, then select “Paste”. The progress box will appear, allowing to monitor the transfer process. Upon completion, the copy of the original objects will be stored in the desired location.

Drag-and-Drop File Transfer

Select the file or folder you want to copy, drag the object to the desired location on the other computer, and drop it in that location. The progress box will appear, allowing to monitor the transfer process. Upon completion, the copy of the original objects will be stored in the desired location.
