Techinline Remote Desktop Client User Guide Techinline Remote Desktop Expert User Guide Print this Topic Return to chapter overview

In order to launch Techinline Remote Desktop, a browser add-on must be installed on your computer. If you run the service as the Client for the first time, your Web-browser will prompt you to install the add-on (which differs for each Web-browser).

Note. You need to have appropriate administrator rights for installing browser add-on components on the computer. If you do not have such rights or you would like to avoid installing the browser add-on for any particular reason, you can use the Client Desktop Application. It is a standalone program which does not require any installation and allows you to use the Techinline service.

If you no longer need the browser add-on, you can uninstall it. If you uninstall the add-on and then run the Techinline service, you will have to install the add-on again or you can use the Client Desktop Application.
