Restart the Client as Windows system service option allows you to perform all Administrative tasks when the Client application has been started without administrative rights.

To restart the Client as Windows system service:

1.	Connect to the Client's computer and start the support session. The Expert Main Form (Active Session Status) will appear.

Note: You may receive this message if the Client without administrative rights is running on an OS prior to Windows Vista or User Access Control is switched off.

2.	Click on the link Restart the Client as a Windows service.

Depending on the Client's rights and computer configuration, Restart as a windows service will be executed in one of the following ways:

When the User Access Control is enabled on the remote machine and the Client has Administrative rights:

The following message will be displayed in your chat board:

If the Client allows this operation and clicks the Yes button, you will receive:

If the Client denies this operation and clicks the Cancel button, you will receive:

When the Client does not have Administrative rights:

The system prompts you for Credentials to restart the Client as a Windows service.

The credentials can be provided in one of the following ways:

You provide the credentials to restart the Client as a Windows system service.

Enter the Administrative credentials for the remote computer on the dialog and click OK.

When the User Access Control is enabled on the remote machine, the Client will be asked for permission of this operation:

o	If client allows this operation and clicks the Yes button, the following message will be displayed in the chat board:

o	If the client denies this operation and clicks the Cancel button, the following message will be displayed in the chat board:

Note: If the User Access Control is disabled on the remote system, the Client application will be restarted with provided credentials without the Client's confirmation.

You can request the Client to provide the credentials

To request the Client for the credentials on their computer:

Choose the link Request the remote user for Administrator credentials.

After selecting this option, the Client will be asked to enter their information to allow this operation:

Wait until the Client enters their information and password and clicks the OK button. You will receive the following message:

o	If client allows this operation and clicks the Yes button, the following message will be displayed in the chat board:

o	If the client denies this operation and clicks the Cancel button, the following message will be displayed in the chat board:

Note: If the User Access Control is disabled on the remote system, the Client application will be restarted after the Client enters the credentials without encountering any UAC dialogs.
