Techinline Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2021
1. Introduction
Techinline Ltd. takes protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly adheres to the rules laid out by global data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which is a European regulation on data protection and privacy (GDPR).
The main purpose of the Techinline software is to allow IT professionals and helpdesk technicians ("Experts") to establish remote desktop sessions over the Internet for their business purposes, i.e. to provide on-demand technical support to their customers ("Clients") remotely or to access unattended remote computers.
The following policy provides an overview of how Techinline ensures personal data protection and what kind of data is collected for what purpose.
2. Information about the Collection of Personal Data

4. Data Security and Storage
We've implemented strict technical measures to ensure data security, primarily to protect your personal data from threats when transmitting data as well as from unauthorized third-party access. These measures are constantly monitored and adjusted according to the latest technologies.
Techinline will disclose personal data only to those of its employees and third parties that (1) need to know such information in order to process it on Techinline's behalf or to provide services as outlined in this Privacy Policy (2) have agreed not to disclose it to any other parties without Techinline's consent.
Techinline's master server is located in the United Kingdom. Please be aware that Personal Data we collect will be processed and stored in the United Kingdom.
By using the Techinline product and/or submitting your personal data, you agree to the transfer, storage, and/or processing of your personal data in the United Kingdom.
5. Collection of Personal Data for Informational Use
When you visit the website for informational purposes (i.e. if you do not log into the Techinline product, register a Techinline account, or otherwise provide us with information), we do not collect any personal data, except for the data transmitted by your browser that enables you to access the website. This includes:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Time zone
- Content of the request (specific site)
- Access status / HTTP status code
- Volume of data transmitted each time
- Website from which the request comes
- Browser
- Operating system and its interface
- Language and version of the browser software
- The country of origin for the visitor
- Time spent on website

Techinline's purpose in collecting the above information is to better understand how Techinline website visitors use and interact with the website. Techinline does not use the collected information to identify its visitors and does not disclose the collected information other than under the circumstances described in this Privacy Policy.
6. Collection of Personal Data for Product Use
The Techinline product does not log or store any information transferred or recorded during the session apart from general information used to generate the Session Usage Reports, such as session start/end time, IP addresses of session participants (Expert and Client), and the amount (in bytes) of transferred data.
The session information summarized above is stored on Techinline's master server located in the United Kingdom.
Techinline also utilizes a global network of servers that are located worldwide, mostly in the United States and the European Union. A distributed data allocation allows us to guarantee 24/7 availability and reliability of the remote desktop software as a service all around the world.
Techinline uses proprietary geoDNS algorithms to distribute sessions to the nearest servers available. This means that users from a particular country will be almost certainly connected through one of our servers hosted in that country (if any of our servers is located in that region). For example, EU users will be almost certainly connected through our EU servers, North American users will be almost certainly connected through our US servers, etc.
All temporary information used or transferred during the session is temporarily stored in the server's operating memory without anyone having access to this information. Once the data is transferred from one session participant to another, it is entirely disregarded from the operating memory. Once the session is terminated, all temporary data is entirely disregarded.
Techinline does not collect any content data and due to industry-standard encryption, cannot access the content of your connection.
7. Collection of Personal Data from Techinline Customers

10. The Use of Cookies
The Techinline website and product use cookies to improve user experience, such as to facilitate automatic logon into the Techinline product when this feature is enabled by the Expert.
For more information about the use of cookies, see our Cookie Policy.
11. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users interact with the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
You can stop the recording and processing of your data usage of this website by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
12. Use of Google AdWords
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The cookie for conversion tracking is placed when a user clicks on an ad delivered by Google. These cookies expire within 30 days. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google will be able to recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page. Every Google AdWords customer gets a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across sites by AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in for conversion tracking. Customers are given an overall number of users who have clicked on their ad and proceeded to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can personally identify users.
If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can take the necessary steps to block a cookie – such as through a browser setting, which generally disables cookies from being stored, or adjust your browser settings in such a way that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are blocked.
13. Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing feature from Google Inc. This feature is used to present website visitors interest-based advertising within the Google ad network. A "cookie" is stored in the browser of a visitor to the website that enables the visitor to be recognized again later when visiting these websites, which are a part of the advertising network from Google. On these pages, the visitor can be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously called up on websites that use the remarketing feature from Google.
According to its own policy, Google does not collect any personal data with this process. Nevertheless, if you do not want to see from Google, you can disable it by changing the appropriate settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
14. Use of Techinline Website Features
In addition to an informative use of the Techinline website, we offer various services that can be used according to your interest. To do this, you must usually provide additional personal data that we will then use to provide the respective service. If extra voluntary details could be provided, these will be marked accordingly.
14.1 Use of the "Contact Us" Feature
When you contact us via email, we will store your email address and, if you have provided them, your name and phone number in order to effectively answer your questions.
14.2 Use of the "Buy Now" Feature
Techinline has partnered with 3rd party e-commerce payment processing systems, Bluesnap Inc and Bright Market LLC, to handle its billing matters. If you buy the Techinline product through our website, depending on the selected payment method our billing partner will collect and store your contact data (name, address, and email address), as well as the payment method you have chosen in order to be able to fulfill its obligations under the resulting business relationship. If you provide them, Techinline and our billing partner will also store your company name, phone number, as well as the selected country. This data will be deleted after fulfillment of the contract and the tax and commercial storage periods.
14.3 Use of the "Support" Feature
When you place a support request through the Techinline product interface, you will be submitting an email request. Therefore, when you contact us, we will store your email address, your name, and your telephone number, if it was provided, in order to answer your questions. We will also store your message so that we can process your request.
15. Consent and Limits to Use
By giving us your consent and providing your personal data to Techinline, you agree that we may collect, process, store or use the provided personal information for the legitimate purpose of enabling you to access our product and for related business activities, which may include contacting you, processing your requests and orders, answering your sales or technical support inquiries, or promoting the Techinline product.
Techinline's website features the Our Customers page, where your company name and logo may be published. If you do not wish your company name and logo to be published on our website, send an email request to privacy@techinline.com to notify us.
Your personal data will not be used for any other purpose other than stated above. You may withdraw your consent anytime.
16. Data Transfer to Third Parties
We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
We can transfer your personal data to third parties if we offer participation in campaigns, contests, reservations, or contract agreements in conjunction with a third party. In some cases, such as upon purchasing the Techinline product, we use external service providers to process your data. We have chosen these providers carefully and have commissioned them in writing. They are bound by our directives and are regularly monitored by us. These service providers will not forward your personal data to third parties.
17. Social Network Widgets
Our website may include social network sharing widgets that may provide information to their associated social networks or third-parties about your interactions with our web pages that you visit, even if you do not click on or otherwise interact with the plug-in or widget. Information is transmitted from your browser and may include an identifier assigned by the social network or third party, information about your browser type, operating system, device type, IP address, and the URL of the web page where widget appears. If you use social network tools or visit social networking sites, you should read their privacy disclosures, to learn what information they collect, use, and share.
18. Use of Techinline's Buy Now Forms
If you would like to purchase the Techinline product, you can submit either an auto-recurring or one-time order from our website. Depending on the selected payment method, Techinline relies on third-party payment processing systems, Bluesnap Inc. and Bright Market LLC., to handle its billing matters. Techinline itself does not process or store any credit card information.
Required fields that are necessary to fulfill the contract are specially marked on the Buy Now form; any additional information is voluntary. Upon creation of a paid Techinline account, the data entered by you will be stored with the payment processing system and can be revoked later.
The data you enter will be used strictly to fulfill your order. The collected data will be deleted after fulfillment of the contract and the tax and commercial storage periods. In order to prevent unauthorized third-party access to your personal data, in particular financial data, the ordering process is encrypted using SSL technology.
19. Right to Obtain Information and Revocation
You have the right to request information from Techinline about the personal data stored about you with us at any time, as well as to their origin, recipients or categories of recipients to whom this data is transmitted, and the storage purpose.
If you have given consent for the use of data, you can revoke this consent at any time.
All requests and inquiries for information or objections for data processing should be sent by email to privacy@techinline.com.
20. Email Communication
After registering either a Techinline free trial or paid account, we will send you a confirmation email to the specified email address. You may subsequently receive additional automated or manual emails from Techinline with useful product-related and informative content such as new product releases, feedback, and account status updates. The purpose of such content is strictly to improve your experience with using the Techinline product. You may revoke your consent from receiving our email correspondence at any point by using the Unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting Techinline.
21. Integration of Third-Party Services
It is possible that third-party content will be integrated from other websites within this website, such as videos from YouTube videos, external links, or graphics. This always presupposes that the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as the "third-party provider") detect the IP address of the user because without the IP address, they would not be able to deliver the content to the browser of each user. The IP address is therefore necessary to present this content. We strive to use only the content provided by the websites that use IP addresses solely to deliver that content. However, we have no control over whether the third-party providers save the IP addresses for statistical purposes, for example. We inform users about this insofar as this is known to us.
22. Links to Other Websites
Our official website contains links to other websites. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation to that third party. We do not exercise control over third-party websites. We recommend that you contact those sites directly for their privacy and data sharing policies.
23. Additional Information
Your trust is important to us. That is why we are always available to answer any questions concerning how your data is processed. If you have any questions that could not be answered by this privacy policy or if you wish to receive more details on this topic, please contact Techinline's Data Protection Officer at any time at privacy@techinline.com.
24. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. Regardless, we will post those changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will also provide a more prominent notice.
