Welcome to Techinline FixMe.IT!
This page contains a legal framework for the use of Techinline's website, product and services (collectively called "Techinline software" or "Techinline service"), consisting of Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, License Agreement, and Service Level Agreement (SLA). The individual person or single legal entity registering for the Techinline software will be referred to in these Terms of Service as "You" or "Customer".
Before using the Techinline software, you should be aware of the content of all the documents mentioned above.
"Techinline" or "We" or "Our" refers to Techinline Ltd. Please see the Imprint for details.
1. Purpose of Business
The main purpose of the Techinline software is to allow IT professionals and helpdesk technicians ("Expert") to establish remote desktop sessions over the Internet for their business or personal purposes, i.e. to provide technical support to their customers ("Client") remotely or to access unattended remote computers.
2. Privacy
We respect your privacy. When you engage with us, we might need to collect, process and store some of your personal data. We strive to minimize the collection of your personal data. We will use your personal information in a fair way - only to the extent needed for our legitimate business purpose. Please read our Privacy Policy for details.
3. License Agreement
Before evaluating or purchasing the Techinline software, be sure to read the License Agreement (LA). By accepting these Terms of Service, you also agree to our License Agreement (LA).
4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Techinline is committed to providing prompt and reliable services. Please refer to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for details.
5. Data protection
5.1. The Customer consents to the collection, storage and processing of personal data, provided these data are required to create, define the substance of, or amend the contractual relationship with Techinline. These personal data shall be used exclusively for the purposes of contract implementation. In the absence of express consent or a statutory basis, the Customer’s personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties who do not perform an active part in contract implementation. Following completed contract implementation, the data shall be blocked to prevent further use. The data shall be deleted following expiry of the retention periods specified under tax and commercial provisions, unless the Customer has expressly consented to their further use.
5.2. For the purposes of identifying the terminals (work stations) under the agreement, Techinline shall, in the course of remote data access and within the scope of the purpose of the agreement, store the IP and MAC addresses of the respective terminals for a period of seven hundred and thirty days (730) days for the purposes of preventing risks and removing malfunctions; this data is then deleted without trace unless statutory provisions or official orders require otherwise. Techinline has no direct or administrative access to the transmitted data contents and shall only store them temporarily for the purposes of transmission of the remote access initiated by the Customer.
5.3. Techinline shall, with reference to the respective Customer's account, log the time the Techinline software is started and the time and duration of the pertaining remote session (session protocol); these data are stored in a databank which is not connected to the databank containing the user data of the respective user. Techinline shall only log and/or store the contents of the respective data connection (session) on behalf of the Customer if this is part of the agreement, in accordance with the offer chosen by the Customer (Session Notes or Client Name).
5.4. With regard to data storage and/or processing pursuant to Section 5.2 and 5.3 above, the Customer undertakes to check whether this could affect personal data of third parties.
5.5. Techinline shall also store data on IP address(s) of session participants, and potentially other technical data of the terminal used, exclusively in anonymized form and for purely statistical purposes.
5.6. Personal data during the ordering process is transmitted via the internet using TLS-based encryption. Credit card data is not stored by Techinline, but collected and processed by Techinline's authorized e-commerce partner. Techinline secures its website and other systems using technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, change or processing of the personal data by unauthorized parties.
5.7. The Customer has a right to free information about the data saved about its person and a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. The responsible office in this regard is:

14. Free Trial Policy

A Techinline free trial user is defined as a legal entity, home user, non-profit organization, regional representation or subdivision which has registered the Techinline free trial account. Registration of multiple concurrent free trial accounts by a single user is regulated by Techinline and is generally against our Terms of Service. The user may apply to register multiple concurrent free trials by contacting Techinline's sales team.
Techinline reserves the right to block or limit access to any trial accounts that are suspected to be in any manner linked to previously registered trials by the same free trial user.
